Digital transformation has only a starting point, no ending point

According to the Standing Office of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) on the results of the implementation of digital transformation tasks in 2022, up to now, MARD has completed the direction to build the Digital Transformation System. Information and Database of Livestock Industry at the website https://csdlchannuoi.mard.gov.vn. The Steering Committee held the Ceremony of Launching on June 17, 2022.
Regarding the database for granting and managing planting area codes, MARD has completed directing the construction of an information system and database for granting and managing planting area codes according to the Article No.64 of the Law on Cultivation. The Steering Committee held the Deployment Ceremony on August 19, 2022.
Regarding the agricultural product traceability platform, MARD has directed to build a traceability system at https://checkvn.mard.gov.vn. The Steering Committee is expected to hold Ceremony of Implementing in the first quarter of 2023.
By the end of 2022, MARD will continue to supplement and complete the dossier of the Project on Digital Transformation of the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector to 2025, with orientation to 2030; Continuing to implement 02 projects: “Building an e-Government, towards a Digital Government of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the period of 2021-2025” and “Building an Information System and Database of the Agriculture sector. agriculture and rural development” according to the task, meet the general progress, ensure that there is no delay; Carrying out the task of building e-Government, aiming at CPS: smoothly operating the shared electronic office; safely operate information systems and online public services; complete the integration of online public services onto the national public service portal; digitization of records and results of administrative procedures; Perform the ministry’s digital transformation tasks.
Standing Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien highly appreciated the efforts of the units contributing to accelerate the digital transformation of the Ministry, especially in the development of the Project on Digital Transformation of the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector to 2025, with orientation towards the year. By 2030, the project has been basically completed. The project will serve as a guideline and legal basis for implementing digital transformation of the agricultural sector. The Deputy Minister emphasized the prerequisites for successful digital transformation, which are: full, profound and comprehensive digital awareness; The perfect regime; Guaranteed technology infrastructure; Complete and consistent digital data; Resources… According to the Deputy Minister, digital transformation only has a starting point, there is no end point because the wave of technology is continuously developing and will not be able to stop. Therefore, updating the initial digital platform with the above factors is very important.
Based on the Decision 4496/QD-BNN-TCCB on the assignment of tasks in the leadership of the Ministry, Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien handed over the monitoring and direction of the digital transformation work of the Ministry to Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Tri.
