Preliminary survey for external assessment at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University

(BAFU) – On October 4th, 2022, a delegation of external assessment experts from the Centre for Education accreditation – Association of Viet Nam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) conducted a preliminary survey at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) to prepare for the official survey of 02 training programs in Food technology and Crop science.

An overview of the working session

Participating in the survey, the assessment team included Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Ha – Expert of the Office of the State Council of Professors, Head of the Delegation; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Quality Accreditation of Education; MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung – Head of Education Quality Accreditation Department; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chief of staff of Education Accreditation Center.

Welcoming the delegation of external assessment experts, on the side of BAFU, there were the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector and representatives of faculties and members of the BAFU’s Self-Assessment Council.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of Education Accreditation Center – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges introduced an overview of the process of university education quality accreditation of the Ministry of Education and Training; agree on the official survey plan and program of the external assessment team at BAFU from October 12th to October 16th, 2022.

On behalf of the BAFU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha thanked the experts of the External Evaluation Delegation and wished that the survey results would be objective and fair, demonstrating BAFU’s efforts in ensuring the quality of education. The results of educational accreditation are also the goal that the University aims to improve the university governance model in the context of autonomy, contributing to enhancing the position of BAFU in the region and reaching internationally.

At the end of working session with a high spirit of consensus, the representative of CEA-AVU&C and the leaders of BAFU signed the Documents of the preliminary survey, confirming the preparation and readiness of the University for the upcoming official survey of 02 training programs in Food technology and Crop science.
