International cooperation signing ceremony: Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University and Kinneret College, Israel

(BAFU) – On the morning of April 18, 2025, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) of had a working session with Kinneret College, Israel to discuss cooperation in recruiting candidates for the work-study program.

According to the memorandum of cooperation, students from BAFU will have the opportunity to participate in an 11-month program in Israel. Throughout the program, students will engage in theoretical study, practical training, applied research on modern agricultural farms and receive salary for their work. The program is structured to provide students with access to advanced farming techniques and leading agricultural technologies in Israel, thereby enhancing their professional competencies in alignment with the university’s academic curriculum.

Students from the second year onward are eligible to apply for the program. The tuition fee ranges from VND 6 to 7 million per month, while the expected monthly salary is approximately VND 35 to 40 million. Additionally, participants are provided with accommodation support and will receive a completion bonus equivalent to one month’s salary when successfully finishing the program.

“This program has provided valuable learning opportunities, enabling students to develop professional skills and a global mindset, thereby contributing to the overall enhancement of the university’s training quality,” affirmed Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong

The meeting between the two schools took place with the participation of Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong, Vice Rector of BAFU and Mr. Zenhavi David – Rector of Kinneret College. The two sides discussed and agreed on the contents of cooperation, including the responsibilities of each side in selecting, supporting and managing students.

The Center for Educational Services and Environmental Ecology, under Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry, will be responsible for candidate selection, English language support, health check-ups, and visa processing. Meanwhile, Kinneret College is committed to organizing the program, providing detailed information regarding costs, study and work conditions as well as issuing certificates to students upon successful completion of the course.

The signing of the memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions not only opens up opportunities for students to access Israel’s advanced agricultural practices but also contributes to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s agricultural sector. This initiative serves as a testament to BAFU’s commitment to the internationalization of education and the training of high-quality human resources.
