Gala night to welcome new students and Miss BAFU 2022

(BAFU) – On the evening of November 18, 2022, at the outdoor Stage of lecture hall B5, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) hosted a Gala night to welcome new students and Miss BAFU 2022.

The final night of Miss BAFU 2022 was held with participation of Mr. Giap Xuan Canh –  Bac Giang Deputy Secretary of  Youth Union, Mr. Phan Dinh Oanh – Vice Rector of Bac Giang Culture, Sports and Tourism Intermediate School, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of Viet Yen district , Toan Thang Veterinary Medicine Joint Stock Company, ILAND Real Estate Company, Hoai Son Ao Dai Sponsor. On the side of BAFU, there were Meritorious teacher, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the BAFU’s Council; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector with 08 contestants and more than 1000 students.

Opening remarks, Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector of BAFU hoped that the Gala Night program – Miss BAFU 2022 would be a meaningful and useful activity to welcome new students and toward the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day. That was a healthy playground for students so that they had the opportunity to exchange, learn and practice skills, contributing to orienting students’ aesthetic values ​​about BAFU’s beauty.

At the final night of Miss BAFU 2022, the contestants went through several rounds, including Ao dai (traditional long dress), talent, evening gown, presentation.

After 4 exciting rounds, Luong Thu Huyen (D-NNTQ12A) – Center for Foreign Languages ​​and Informatics was crowned Miss BAFU 2022. Meanwhile, Giap Hoai Linh (12A5) – Than Nhan Trung High School and Phan Thi Ha (D-CNTP9A) – Faculty of Food Technology were the first and second runners-up, respectively. In addition, the Organizing Board also awarded 5 sub-prizes including: the most favorite contestant (People Choice Award), the friendliest contestant, the contestant most beautifully performed Ao dai – traditional costume, the contestant most beautifully performed evening gown, and the contestant the most successfully answered question.
