The Ceremony of Awarding the Certificate of Accreditation to 05 Training Programs of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University

(BAFU) – On March 21st, 2023, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) in collaboration with the Center for Education Accreditation –  Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) solemnly held the Ceremony of Decision Announcement and awarding Certificates of accreditation to 05 bachelor programs in Accounting, Crop Science, Veterinary Medicine, Land Management, Food Technology.

Attending the Ceremony, there were: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan – Chief of Office of CEA-AVU&C. From BAFU, there were: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of BAFU, comrades in the Party Committee, Board of Rectors along with leaders of departments – faculties – centers; staff and students of the University.

With the mission of training high-quality human resources in agriculture and forestry, BAFU always puts prestige and quality on top. The educational quality accreditation of 05 university-level training programs is a measure for the future development and orientation of BAFU. According to the evaluation results of 05 training programs were completed by the end of 2022, BAFU achieved 92% of the total accreditation criteria with 11 standards and 50 criteria.

Addressing at the Ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector thanked the teachers of 05 faculties and Center for Education Accreditation –  Association of Viet Nam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) for their supports and recommendations to the development of the university. He also emphasized that: “BAFU has determined that quality is a vital requirement for survival and sustainable development. 05 training programs accredited including Accounting, Crop Science, Veterinary Medicine, Land Management, Food Technology have contributed to BAFU’s achievements. Being accredited does not mean completion but it serves as measurements for further improvements in the quality assurance work of the faculties to continuously increase the quality”.

This is a worthy result for the efforts of the faculties in particular as well as of BAFU in general in implementing training quality accreditation. This result also proves to the society, businesses, parents and learners about the training quality of BAFU. In the coming time, BAFU will continue to get its undergraduate and master’s degree programs accredited. The success of the programs with the accreditation standards will be the motivation for the faculties to continue to learn, get experience and prepare the best way to improve the quality of educational institutions, gradually realize its mission and vision in the future.
