BAFU’s Sports Event to celebrate Liberation Day 30/4 and International Labor Day 1/5-2022

(BAFU) – After a week of exciting competitions, on the afternoon of April 27, 2022, the Trade Union of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) held a Closing Ceremony of the Sports Event to celebrate the Liberation Day 30/4 and the International Labor Day 1/ 5.

Attending the Closing Ceremony were: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the BAFU’s Council; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector; MS. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung – Chairwoman of Trade Union and representatives of the teams.

This year’s Sports Event has more than 100 athletes participating with more than 70 matches in the contents: Volleyball for men and women; women’s volleyball; badminton (men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles); Tennis (men’s doubles); Table tennis (men’s doubles, men’s singles).

The competitions were rated for high professional quality with many rounds and the finals were dramatic and attractive. Athletes showed their high technical level and good fitness in each competition content.

Achievements at the Sports Event were the worthy results for the training efforts of the athletes. This was also the spiritual encouragement to BAFU’s staff emulating the achievement to celebrate Liberation Day 30/4 and International Labor Day 1/5-2022. The competitions helped select the athletes with the best achievements to participate in the competition on behalf of BAFU in the coming time; improve physical strength, increase the spirit of cohesion and solidarity among BAFU’s staff.
