(BAFU) – The delegation of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GXAAS) led by Mr. Liu Yuming – Deputy Director visited and worked with Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) on the morning of June 28, 2024. Vice Rector Nguyen Tuan Duong received the guests and expressed warm welcome to the delegation of GXAAS.

The Vice Rector thanked GXAAS for transferring to BAFU new grape varieties. Especially, Ha Den grape adapted to Vietnam’s soil conditions for high productivity and economic efficiency. He also expressed his desire to continue promoting on scientific and technological advances for staff of the University as well as Bac Giang province. At the same time, GXAAS requested to send experts to support the University and speed up the construction progress of a combined laboratory for preserving and processing Vietnam- China agricultural products.

Mr. Liu Yuming thanked the University for welcoming the delegation and said that “GXAAS and BAFU have had many achievements in cooperation in scientific research, so he believes that cooperation will achieve more achievements in the coming time”. Therefore, he wished to continue to cooperate and promote the development of the Vietnam-China combined laboratory and agricultural product processing. In addition, BAFU will send 1-2 PhDs to participate in the China-ASEAN Talented Young Scientists program, the young scientist program of Ministry of Science and Technology, China. In October 2024, GXAAS will send an invitation to the University’s leaders to participate in the China-ASEAN Science and Technology Conference.
