(BAFU) – This morning, on February 12, 2025, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) held the Opening Ceremony of the Official Survey for evaluating 03 undergraduate training programs in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Chinese Language, Plant Protection, and 01 master’s training program in Economic Management.
Attending the Opening Ceremony, on the side of the External Evaluation Team, were Prof. Dr. Sc. Banh Tien Long – Former Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training, Head of delegation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center for Accreditation of Education under the Association of Vietnam Colleges and Universities (CEA-AVU&C); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Uyen – Head of the Center’s Quality Accreditation Department, Secretary of the delegation and members of the Evaluation delegation.
On behalf of BAFU, attendees included Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Rector of the University; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, along with members of the Board of Rectors, the Self-Evaluation Council, specialized teams for training programs, heads and deputy heads of units, unions and all staff of the Faculty of Economics – Finance, Agronomy, Natural Resources and Environment, and the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga expressed her delight in accompanying the university at the beginning of the new year. She hoped that the BAFU’s leadership would create favorable conditions for the Evaluation Delegation to collect accurate information. Additionally, she hoped that BAFU increasingly develop, expand training scale and improve the living standard of staff and lecturers.

Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Duong sent his sincere thanks to the External Evaluation Team for their companionship and support throughout the evaluation process. The Rector affirmed that “this is the fourth time the university have welcomed the External Evaluation Team, and each evaluation had brought positive developments”. He emphasized that the university is always willing to listen to the experts’ feedback and comments to continue improving, enhancing training quality, and contributing to socio-economic development.

According to the plan, the official survey will take place over five days, from February 12, 2025, to February 17, 2025. During this period, various evaluation activities, evidence collection, interviews, and professional discussions will be conducted to ensure that the university’s training quality meets accreditation standards.
