(BAFU) – On October 27, 2022, the delegation of Bac Giang Agriculture – Forestry University (BAFU) led by Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector conducted an inspection of the national agricultural extension project “Building the model of Sa nhan tim (Amomum longiligulare T.L. Wupurple) in Northern midland and mountainous provinces of Vietnam” in Le Vien commune, Son Dong district, Bac Giang province and Lam Ca commune, Thai Binh commune, Dinh Lap district, Lang Son province.
BAFU has signed a contract to implement the project with Ha Giang Agricultural Extension Center, Son Dong District Agricultural Technical and Service Center, Dinh Lap District Agricultural Service Center to implement the project in 2022. July 2022, 12 hectares have been implemented with participation of 12 households in Lam Ca commune, Dinh Lap district, Lang Son province and 12 hectares with participation of 08 households in Le Vien commune, Son Dong district, Bac Giang province.

Through an inspection showed that the model of Sa nhan tim (Amomum longiligulare T.L. Wupurple) is growing well and has potential economic value. The implementation unit of project instructed households to take care of the planting model in 2021 and new planting procedure in 2022. BAFU will continue to direct the implementation of project according to the seasonal schedule.
The model of Sa nhan tim (Amomum longiligulare T.L.
