Chairman of K-GLOBAL WOKING-KGM, TATA DAEWOO works with Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University

(BAFU) – On the afternoon of June 6, 2024, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) had a cordial meeting and working with the Delegation of K-GLOBAL WOKING-KGM, TATA DAEWOO led by Mr. KO YOUNGHAK – Chairman of the Group. On the side of BAFU, there were Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Rector; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector, along with representatives of the Department of Science and International Cooperation, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Food Technology.

Mr. KO YOUNGHAK – Chairman of the Group

At the meeting, Mr. KO YOUNGHAK said that “The corporation wishes to cooperate in training engineers in the automotive technology industry with the University.  The students will study 6 months (2 months’ theory, 4 months’ practice) at BAFU and then go to the corporation to work with an income of 30,000 USD/year, and can work for 7 years in Korea”.  He strongly expressed his desire to cooperate in Vietnam on this high-tech human resource training program.

In the speech at the meeting, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector was pleased to welcome the delegation of K-GLOBAL WOKING-KGM TATA DAEWOO group to visit and work at BAFU. The Rector emphasized that BAFU is located in an agricultural and technological development area, so recruiting human resources in the automotive industry is very feasible. Especially full physical facilities and quality of BAFU will meet the group’s standard requirements. The Rector also believed that the cooperation would be successful and bring the highest paying jobs to the students.

At the end of the meeting, the BAFU and K-GLOBAL WOKING-KGM, TATA DAEWOO Group discussed and agreed with relevant parties to reach a cooperation agreement before June 15, 2024.
