(BAFU) – On the afternoon of July 22nd, 2022, at the meeting room No. 2, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) held an acceptance for the results of a potential ministry-level science and technology project “Molecular epidemiological characteristics and pathology of Derzsy’s disease in waterfowl” caused by Parvovirus in some northern provinces of Vietnam”.
Attending the acceptance meeting were Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice President, Chairman of the Council; Council members include: Dr. Le Van Duong – Bac Giang Sub-Department of Livestock and Veterinary Medicine; MSc. Nguyen Duc Duong – Independent expert; Dr. Dang Huu Anh – Vietnam Academy of Agriculture; MSc. Vu Trung Dung – Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry and members implement the project.

Dr. Tran Duc Hoan, project manager, said that the topic “Molecular epidemiological characteristics and pathology of Derzsy’s disease in waterfowl caused by Parvovirus in some northern provinces, Vietnam” with a total budget of 480,000. 000 VND, in 18 months carried out in 6 northern provinces including: Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Lang Son, Hanoi, Thai Nguyen and Hung Yen.
At the acceptance meeting, the members of the Council gave suggestions to improve the topic. Appreciating the efforts of the research team to carry out a very large amount of work according to the set tasks. In addition, the members of the Council also contributed many professional opinions to help the research team perfect and improve the persuasiveness of the research results of the topic. It is recommended that the research team have suggestions to develop research topics at a higher level.
