(BAFU) – On March 17th, 2022, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) successfully organized a grassroot-level council to accept the National Agricultural Extension Project conducted by Dr. Ngo Thanh Vinh
(BAFU)-Attending the working session with the participation of Dr. Le Van Duong – Director of Sub-Department of Livestock and Veterinary Medicine, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac Giang province; MSc. Nguyen Quoc My – Agricultural Service Center of Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector; the representatives of the Department of Science & International Cooperation and the Department of Finance – Accounting (BAFU).

The project to develop a model of raising colored chickens (Ri and crossbred chicken (Ri-Sasso-Luong Phuong) (RSL) and some indigenous colored feathered chickens) associated with product consumption in the Northern midland and mountainous provinces (Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and Lang Son). Scale of the project has been implemented with the number of breeding animals: 86,000 (Ri and Mia crossbred chicken); Compound feed (447,200kg) with protein content from 18-21%, 344,000 doses of vaccine and 43,000 liters of disinfectant. Seeds, food and supplies were delivered to 192 households participating in the model at 24 locations. The members of the council highly appreciated the scientific and practical significance and also commented on the shortcomings and limitations for the project.
