(BAFU) – Bac Giang People’s Committee has just issued a Decision on approving the task of detailed construction planning of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) (Scale 1/500).

According to the detailed construction planning, the planning research area belongs to the administrative boundary of Bich Dong town, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province. The BAFU’s border is bounded to the North by agricultural land in Ram village, Tu Lan commune; to the South by residential area of Quarter 1, Bich Dong town; to the East by agricultural land in Don Luong village; to the West by agricultural land in Tu Lan commune and residential area of Nong Lam Sub – quarter.
BAFU is a public institution of higher education, directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with the function of human resource training, scientific research and technological development in the sector of agriculture and rural development. The planning research area is about 58 hectares, the training scale is about 12,000 students and 500 lecturers by 2025.
Construction investment includes: Technical infrastructure for internal roads, parking lots; water, electricity and lighting supply; communication, garbage station; water drainage, wastewater treatment system…; housing projects, training and research areas, flower gardens, sports facilities.
