(BAFU) On August 15th, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) launched the Youth Volunteer Campaign 2021 in Long Son commune (Son Dong district, Bac Giang province).
The “Green Summer” volunteer campaign in 2021 focuses on organizing volunteer activities such as: supporting local people to repair, renew their houses, electricity and water systems; supporting people to prevent diseases for plants and animals; organize training, technical advice on agriculture-forestry for the localities; helping families policies to harvest agricultural products and take care of crops and livestock; organizing summer cultural activities, entertainment, life skills education for teenagers and children in residential areas…

In the volunteer program, the Youth Union gave 15 gifts to policy households with difficult circumstances, each gift worth 500,000 VND; implemented the youth project of “flower roads”, supported 200 fruit trees for farmers such as jackfruit, custard apple, pomelo; trained on fruit tree planting techniques for nearly 100 people in the commune.
Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is an annual activity of the Youth Union of BAFU in recent years. Through volunteer activities of union members and youth, BAFU has shown the spirit of shock and volunteering of BAFU youth in joining hands to build a richer and more civilized homeland.
