(BAFU) – On November 24th – 25th, 2022, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) in collaboration with Guangxi Academic Agricultural Science Institute, China held a training course on “Application of appropriate technology for agricultural crops in the border area of Vietnam – China “.
Participants in the training course included: Assoc.Prof.Dr. La Vinh Hoa – Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department; MSc. Zeng Yuan – Specialist of International Cooperation Department; Mr. Hoang Giang Luu and Mr. Qin Vu – Lecturers; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector of BAFU; Dr. Tran Duc Hoan – Head of Science & International Cooperation Department and 30 students from agricultural extension officers, cooperatives, and farmer households in Lang Son and Bac Giang provinces.

Overview of the training session
Speaking at the training course, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector of BAFU thanked the delegates and students for attending the training session. He hoped that, through the training session, the trainees would gain useful knowledge about high-tech agricultural application techniques for agricultural production in their localites.
During the training course, the trainees learned 04 topics: Water melon growing technology in the net house; Applying high-tech solutions to farming; Winter and Spring grape management techniques; Production process of tomato and red pepper in the high-tech greenhouse. Participating in growing red pepper and tomato and visiting models in Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province.
