(BAFU) – On May 8th, 2018, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University of (BAFU) and the Center for Education accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) held a ceremony for announcing the decision and handing over the certificate of accreditation.

Attending the ceremony of announcing and congratulating, participants include: On the side of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhan – Director of Organization and Personnel Department. On the side of the CEA-AVU&C, Assoc. Prof. Doctor Nguyen Phuong Nga – Director of the Center together with Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van – Head of External Evaluation Team. Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation for Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Office Chief of Center for Education accreditation announced the recognition of educational quality standard for Bafu.
According to the results of assessment and official appraisal according to the current set of national accreditation criteria with 10 criteria and 61 criteria, the University of Agriculture and Forestry has achieved 80.33% of the total number of accreditation criteria. In particular, the standards of training, management, finance and financial management are 100% of the criteria; Learners, Library and Equipment standards reached 89% of the criteria; Standards for the management team, teachers and staffs reached 79% of the criteria; Criteria for training activities, scientific research, application and technology transfer achieved 71% of the criteria and standard of the training program reached 50% of the criteria. As a result, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University has become the 82/235 higher education institution which is recognized for quality of education.

The ceremony for announcing the decision and handing over the certificate of accreditation is an important event and special significance to all cadres, lecturers and students of Bafu. It marks the success of the university’s training activities after seven years of university education. We believe that with the long tradition and what has been achieved today, the collectives of Bafu’s staffs will continuously improve the quality of training, continue to overcome the next accreditation of society.
