Seminar on Science and technology development, innovation in agriculture

(BAFU) – Seminar on Science and technology development, innovation in agriculture and rural areas in the 4th Industrial Revolution

On October 6th, 2021, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) participated in the seminar on science and technology development, innovation in agriculture with the 4th Industrial Revolution organized by the Central Economic Commission and the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences in an online form. Attending the seminar were: Comrade Cao Duc Phat, former member of the Party Central Committee, former deputy head of the Central Economic Commission’s Standing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Mr. Dao The Anh, Deputy Director, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Central Economic Commission, units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; On the side of BAFU, there were: Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector, Department of Science and International Cooperation and research groups.

Science and technology development, innovation in agriculture and rural areas associated in the 4th Industrial Revolution with the main contents on: Research results science for agricultural and rural development; Results of application development and technology transfer in agriculture and rural areas; Results of building resources to serve the development of science and technology for international integration; Contribution of science and technology to growth and development of agriculture and rural areas; Science and technology innovation in the context of Vietnam; Acknowledgment of the implementation of the objectives set out in Resolution 26-NQ/TW.
