Bafu’s students in Israel are paid 10 million VND per month

(BAFU) With the desire to improve the quality of training and skills for students after graduation, from 2013 Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) has collaborated with Arava International Center for Agricultural Training, Israel (AICAT)

So far, after five years of cooperation with AICAT, the school has nearly 100 students participating in the internship program in Israel. Currently, 22 students are about to complete the internship program in 2017 on farms in Israel. In 2018, nearly 40 students will join this program. In Israel, in addition to improving the ability to work in the international environment, students are also improved the level of foreign language and have an attractive income. Monthly, after deducting expenses, every student get from 10 -15 million. During the internship program, each student is paid more than 100 million. The duration of time in Israel is 11 months, students will work on farms every week with a day at classroom, which includes some subjects of marketing, financial management, business plan, food security … In addition, the students also participate in the tour to the famous places of Israel such as Jerusalem, Dead Sea.

Mr. Tran Manh Quang –  participating in the1st internship program, has successfully started the model of safe vegetable farms (internet source)

One of the first students of BAFU, who participated in the program, Mr. Tran Manh Quang has successfully started a model of safe vegetable farm in his homeland. With 20,000 hectares of agricultural land, Quang is investing a safe vegetable project in Nghia Trung Commune, Viet Yen District, Bac Giang Province. In addition to creating a stable source of income for himselves and his familly, Quang also creates jobs for many workers. The agricultural products  gradually have a foothold on the market. Some food processing companies, factories, schools have  believed in signing contracts for long-term with Mr. Quang.

The success of the program will be motivation for the students who have been studying at the school. At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector said: “Participating in the program of trainees in Israel is a useful activity, after working in the international environment, students will be grown up. There are many students who have opened their own high-tech agricultural companies, this is the success that the program brings to the students in Vietnam in general and students of BAFU in particular. BAFU will create the best conditions for all students to participate in the program”.
