Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a Directive requesting the Examination Steering Committee; Department of Education and Training (E&T); relevant agencies and units; Chairpersons of People’s Committees of districts and the city to strengthen direction and coordination in organizing the High School Graduation Exam in 2023 in the province.
The directive requires agencies and units to coordinate and direct the review and preparation of conditions on facilities, equipment, funding, and qualified human resources to participate in steps, activities to serve the exam, ensure absolute safety; strictly implement regulations and measures for disease prevention and control, food hygiene and safety for the exam; strictly comply with the Examination Regulations of the Ministry of E&T; strengthen communication and application of information technology in the exam.
The Department of E&T actively advises the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Examination Steering Committee to organize the exam in accordance with the guiding documents, Regulations, Guidelines and Plans of the Ministry of E&T; researches, forecasts possible difficulties and situations and timely plan to handle situations during the exam organization; implements the plan to organize the exam for the whole sector; strictly implements the copying of exam questions, examining, marking, reviewing, considering high school graduation and awarding high school diplomas in accordance with the Regulations of the Ministry of E&T, ensuring safety, seriousness, fairness and objectivity in accordance with the Exam Regulations.
Coordinates with departments, agencies, mass organizations, People’s Committees of districts, the city and related units to prepare favorable conditions in the process of organizing the exam in the province; ensuring absolute security and safety for the Exam.
In addition, directs units with candidates to participate in the exam, test sites to provide plans to prevent and control flash floods, landslides and floods so that candidates can take the exam to ensure safety. Strengthens communication; proactively coordinates with press agencies to provide accurate, complete and timely necessary information and new changes about the exam, creating trust and consensus of students’ parents and the whole society. Prepares students well in knowledge, test-taking skills and psychology before, during and after the exam; organizes professional training and exam regulations of the Ministry of E&T for officials, teachers, staff and students.
Provincial police works closely with the Department of E&T to ensure absolute confidentiality and safety for the exam from the stage of receiving exam questions, transporting exam papers, printing copies of exam questions; protects test scores; strengthens the prevention and combat of using high technology to cheat in the Exam. Directs district and city police and traffic police forces to have plans to stay on duty and coordinate with the forces of the Department of Transport and the Youth Union to quickly clear congested areas during the exam, creating conditions for officials, teachers and students to arrive at test sites on time as prescribed.
The Department of Health directs relevant units to implement disease prevention and control, environmental sanitation and food safety; prepares human, material and other necessary conditions to ensure medical examination and treatment for candidates and participants in organizing the exam. Actively develops plans, scenarios, and deploys solutions to be ready to promptly handle situations when an epidemic or food poisoning occurs at the test sites.
