Workshop: Applications of technical processes in agricultural production

(BAFU) – On the morning of November 26, 2024, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) and the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Bac Giang province coordinated to organize a workshop on Introducing some technical processes applied in agricultural production.

The workshop was co-chaired by Dr. Ngo Chi Vinh, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong, Vice Rector of BAFU with the presence of delegates representing the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Cooperative Alliance; Farmers’ Association and Technical Service Centers of city and districts in Bac Giang province.

According to Dr. Ngo Chi Vinh, the lever of mechanization and high technology application in the agricultural sector of Bac Giang province is still low. Meanwhile, scientific research results have a lot of potential in the agricultural sector, but the application and commercialization of these technologies in production faces many difficulties and challenges.

The introduction of new technologies and processes contributes to creating a bridge between scientific research and practical production. This is also an opportunity for scientists, experts, businesses and farmers in order to better understand new technologies and processes, creating opportunities for these technologies to be applied to production, enhancing the value of the agricultural sector.

The workshop also featured presentations on 6 new technologies and technical processes that had been researched and developed in the field of agriculture by sciences of BAFU.

In his closing speech, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong – Vice Rector of the University highly appreciated and acknowledged important contributions at the workshop that would help scientists, management agencies and producers come closer together, linking theory to practice in learning technology research and solving difficulties in production activities.
