Celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and 65th anniversary of the BAFU’s establishment

(BAFU) – On the morning of November 20, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2024) and 65th Anniversary of the University’s establishment (1959 – 2024).

Attending the Anniversary Ceremony were attended by Ms. Phan Thi Hue – Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Nguyen Song Thao – Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel Organization, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Le Duc Tho – Vice Chairman of the Labor Confederation of Bac Giang province, and comrades who are former leaders of BAFU through the periods.

On the side of BAFU were Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Rector; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Chairman of the University’s Council, Board of Rectors and all officials and employees.

Delivering a speech at the Ceremony, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Rector of BAFU sent warm congratulations and expressed his gratitude to all generations of leaders, officials and employees of the University, who have been making important contributions to the cause of education and training and development of the agriculture and rural development sector. Reviewing the tradition of 65-year tradition of development, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong emphasized important milestones such as successful accreditation of 05 university-level training programs and recognition as meeting educational institution quality standards in 2018 and 2024. These achievements have affirmed the full maturity and position of the University on the educational map of the country. BAFU has matured in all aspects, creating important premises for the development in the future. At the same time, he believed that all the teachers of the University would make every effort to convey knowledge, positive energy, love, and life aspirations to students, so that the students would have more confidence and stick with this University, creating a more humane learning and working environment.

At the ceremony, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong also thanked the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other ministries and branches at the Central Government, Bac Giang province and localities for accompanying with the University to create a strong foundation and achieve high results in all areas.

On this occasion, the University honored and rewarded individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements and contributions to the cause of education and training and development of the agriculture and rural development sector in the recent past. This event is not only an honor but also a worthy recognition for their tireless contributions in teaching, scientific research and activities to the community and development of BAFU.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the Emulation Flag to the BAFU’s Trade Union in the Labor Movement and Union Activities in the 2022 – 2023 academic year
