(BAFU) – On the afternoon of September 15, 2024, the Union of Friendship Organizations and Vietnam – China Friendship Association of Thua Thien Hue province coordinated with the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang city to hold the 2nd Chinese Singing Contest in 2024 to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 75th anniversary of National Day of the People’s Republic of China.
Participating in the event, there were 66 contestants and artists with 21 exciting performances from teams across the country. The Chinese Singing Contest served as a playground for students to hone their linguistic abilities through Chinese songs, and foster a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, country and its people. In particular, two students from Chinese Language major of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University shined and achieved impressive achievements. Vi Duc Nguyen, a student of class D-NNTQ11B, excellently won the Third Prize and the Consolation Prize was given to Giap Hoai Linh, a student of class D-NNTQ13A.
