(BAFU) – On the morning of January 24, Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry (BAFU) solemnly held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint the title of Associate Professor to Dr. Diem Dan Huan and Dr. Tran Duc Hoan.
Attendees at the Ceremony included Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Rector; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the BAFU’s Council, Board of Rectors along with leaders of departments, centers and faculties of BAFU.
Associate Professor, PhD. Diem Dang Huan is currently the Principal of Than Nhan Trung High School under BAFU with outstanding achievements in teaching, scientific research and educational management. In 2014, he received a PhD in Mathematics (Applied Mathematics) from Nanjing Normal University, China. During the process of scientific research, he has written and published many works in prestigious domestic and foreign scientific journals. He is also the main textbook author of Probability and Statistics taught at BAFU.

Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Duc Hoan is currently the Head of Science and International Cooperation Department. In his process of scientific research, Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Duc Hoan specializes in researching the fields of Veterinary Parasitology, Microbiology – Veterinary Infectious Diseases. He has published many scholarly works in international journals under the ISI list, participated in and chaired a number of national-level and unit-level research projects, and research cooperation projects with foreign countries.

With their achievements, Dr Diem Dang Huan and Dr. Tran Duc Hoan were honored to be recognized by the State Council of Professors as qualified for the title of Associate Professors in November 2023.
The newly appointed associate professors are indeed a source of pride for BAFU. This contributes to affirming the quality of the BAFU’s human resources in teaching and scientific research activities. It is hoped that, the two newly appointed associate professors will fulfill their plans and make significant contributions to the teaching, research, cooperation and other activities, thereby contributing to the overall university’s outstanding achievements in the upcoming time.
