(BAFU) On July 30, 2021, the Council of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) for the term 2020-2025 held the 3rd Meeting to discuss, consider and decide on issues in the authority of the BAFU Council; approved the program contents for the third quarter of 2021.

Attending the meeting were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector and members of the School Council. Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Chairman of the BAFU Council chaired the meeting.
Overview of the 3rd meeting of the BAFU Council
At the meeting, M.A. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung – President of the University’s Trade Union, Head of the Organization and Administration Department presented a report on supervision of reviewing job positions; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong – Head of Training Department presented the report on supervision of opening training branches in the period 2016-2021; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council presented a report on education quality commitment, educational quality assurance conditions, financial revenue and expenditure. Then, the University Council discussed the organizational and institutional strategic plan for the period 2021-2025.
After listening to the reports, the members of the School Council spent a lot of time exchanging and discussing the above important contents. According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University: having a solution to maintain the opened majors’ codes; promoting the quality accreditation of training majors; pay attention to the remuneration for high- quality lecturers.

The review and determination of job positions is considered a mandatory task to implement the renewal of the management mechanism for cadres and civil servants.
In addition, the delegates also had some recommendations on the content of public commitment to education quality and education quality according to Clause 1, Article 7, Circular 36/2017/TT-BGDĐT; conditions on education quality assurance and financial disclosure according to Clause 3, Article 7, Circular 36/2017/TT-BGDĐT.
On the basis of the explanations of the consulting unit, the members of the BAFU Council approved 4 important contents and contents of activity program for the 3rd quarter, 2021 of the BAFU Council.
Speaking at the closing of the meeting, Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the BAFU Council highly appreciated the comments or suggestions to complete and issue the above reports. Dr. Dang Xuan Anh said that the 4th meeting will be held around the end of September and beginning of October 2021.
