Welcome to Opening and Orientation Week for BAFU’s new students in 2023

(BAFU) – During 5 days from September 11 – September 15, 2023, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) organized “Opening and Orientation Week “, at the beginning of the 2023 – 2024 Academic year for new full-time university students, course 13.

The Opening and Orientation Week is an annual activity with the aim of introducing new students to the history of formation and development of the BAFU, introducing scholarship programs, foreign internships and extracurricular activities. This is a weeklong initiative to highlight civic engagement opportunities throughout BAFU – in relationship with local community, campus partners, and beyond. Additionally, students will get to know all available student services and must-know contact points, get essential information, receive legal education and regulations on credit-based training, instructions on how to use training software, library software, information portals and online training systems.

During the Orientation Week across BAFU’s campus, different faculties, staff, and community partners will host events and other opportunities to engage. This is a chance for all new students to meet new friends, lecturers and staff, discover clubs and societies on campus and get ready to make the most of student life at BAFU.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector of the BAFU made his speech to welcome, encourage students and directly share necessary information in the new academic year 2023-2024.

Through this week, new students will have useful contents related to their studying and training at BAFU. At the end of the Opening and Orientation Week 2023, new students of BAFU will officially enter the new Academic year 2023 – 2024. Hopefully, with BAFU’s careful preparation and their own efforts, the new students will get the highest achievement during the course of  their studies at BAFU.
