In 2022, eight public security schools will hold the People’s Public Security entrance exam for the first time. The exam consists of two parts: multiple choice (25 questions of Natural Science including Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 25 questions of Social Science including History, Geography, Socio-economic Culture; 20 sentences in English or Chinese). and essay (Math or Literature). Candidates do the test in 180 minutes, in which each section is 90 minutes, the maximum score is 100.
The results of the separate test are combined with the high school graduation exam scores (according to the enrollment scheme called method 3). According to the announcement in early August of the People’s Public Security Political Academy and two universities of Fire Prevention, Engineering and Logistics, the People’s Police, the floor point in this method is 70 (on a scale of 100), which is determined by the formula: (Total of three final exam subjects) *10/3 + individual test scores.
The floor level and scoring method of the People’s Police Academy are similar to the quality assurance threshold of the People’s Police University.

While the floor score is calculated on a scale of 100, the entrance examination score (which is the basis for calculating the standard score) in the method of combining the high school graduation exam scores in 2022 and the individual exam scores is reduced to a scale of 30.
The specific scoring formula for admission is as follows: (Total score of three graduation exams) *2/5 + Evaluation test score *3/5 + Priority score according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points for excellent students at the national level.
According to data from the Training Department, Ministry of Public Security, in 2022, eight police schools will recruit 2,050 targets by three methods, including: Direct recruitment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; Considering the combination of international certificates and Considering the results of the high school graduation exam combined with the separate entrance exam.
