MoU Signing Ceremony between BAFU and GVUA, China on Cooperation in Scientific research and Training

(BAFU) – On December 6, 2023, the MoU Signing Ceremony between the Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) and Guangxi Vocational University of Agriculture (GVUA), China was organized at BAFU.

Attending the working session on behalf of GVUA, China were Mr. Wen Xinlian – Secretary of the Party Committee and the working delegation. The BAFU welcomed and work with the delegation of GVUA, there was Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong – Vice Rector along with representatives of Departments, Faculties, Centers and Than Nhan Trung High School.

Delivering at the Ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong expressed his joy when welcoming the delegation of GVUA, China to visit and work at the BAFU. The Vice Rector said that the two universities had signed the MoU on scientific research and training cooperation since 2016 that the cooperation was still limited due to the Covid -19 epidemic. He also hoped that the two sides would discuss and find a direction for the cooperation to coordinate more closely in training and scientific cooperation in the coming time.

Mr. Wen Xinlian – Party Committee Secretary  said that the GVUA  has a large scale with 1,500 officials and more than 20,000 students, 88 majors and 35 university majors, 03 research institutes in the fields of food, animal husbandry, cultivation, etc. He hoped that both sides would implement the signed contents on research cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Also at the the MoU Signing Ceremony, the two sides discussed and agreed to continue to cooperate closely in training, scientific research as well as shared the programs and projects that the two sides had cooperated with each other in exchanging of lecturers and students; Cooperation in research of new plant varieties; Cooperation in laboratory research, etc.
