Job opportunities in Japan for students after graduation

(BAFU) – On the morning of October 30, 2024, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Rector of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) had a reception and working session with delegations from Hai Phong Trading Investment and Construction Company Limited, led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuyen – Director and Out Sourcing Technology Joint Stock Company, led by Mr. Todo Norifusa – General Director on cooperation, training and creating job opportunities for students.

Japan’s semiconductor industry is becoming increasingly important and strategic, and Vietnam has become an important partner for Japan in the semiconductor industry. In the next two to three years, Japan will lack about 20 – 30 thousand technicians/engineers operating in this industry. Therefore, cooperation in the field of training industrial engineers in Vietnam is very necessary.

Speaking at the working session, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Rector of BAFU welcomed the cooperation with Hai Phong Trading Investment and Construction Company Limited and Out Sourcing Technology Joint Stock Company. Hopefully, the company will be the first Japanese unit to cooperate in training with the University. The Rector also introduced the training program and the BAFU’s potential in the field of providing high quality human resources for industries with 4 training majors that can be suitable for company’s needs.

Mr. Todo Norifusa – General Director of Out Sourcing Technology Vietnam Joint Stock Company introduced the company. It is known that the company specializes in training and provides human resources in technology, services and production with a turnover of about 7 billion USD/year. Currently, the company has associated with huge corporations in Japan such as Toyota, Panasonic,… with 270 subsidiaries. The General Director of Out Sourcing Technology Vietnam Joint Stock Company wishes to recruit Vietnamese engineers in mechanical, electrical, and electronic fields to work in Japan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the contents of cooperation and will continue to discuss further in the future.
