Internship Opportunities in Israel – BAFU promotes collaboration partnership with Ramat Negev Agricultural Training Centre (Israel)

(BAFU) – On April 18th, 2023, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) had a courtesy reception for the delegation of experts from Ramat Negev Agricultural Training Center, Israel led by Mr. Kaye Yuval – Director as the head of the delegation.

Receiving and working with the delegation, on behalf of BAFU, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector chaired the reception and representatives of the Training Department and Department of Science & International Cooperation.

At the meeting, Mr. Kaye Yuval – Director of Ramat Negev Agricultural Training Centre (Israel) shared, Israel is a country with climatic and natural geographical conditions not suitable for agriculture, but it is a major exporter of fresh produce and a world-leader in agricultural technologies despite the fact that the geography of the country is not naturally conducive to agriculture. Therefore, students will surely have  great experience when studying 1 day/week at a research and development center and the remaining 5 days to work on farms with a minimum wage of 9USD/hour (8.5 hours per day). In addition, when studying with high results, students will have the opportunities to receive scholarships for Master’s and Doctoral degree programs at Ben Gurion University of Israel.

On behalf of BAFU, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector said: Each year, there are about 20 BAFU’s students participating in internships in Israel, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the cooperative programs between 2 sides were interrupted, the students had a very good impression about the culture, country and the people of Israel. He suggested the Ramat Negev Agricultural Training Center to provide legal documents and Enrollment notice requirements to BAFU  in the shortest possible time.

The visit and work at BAFU of the delegation from Ramat Negev Agricultural Training Center, Israel  was successful in consolidating and developing a long-term and friendly cooperation relationship between two partners. At the same time, the program also contributed to enhancing BAFU’s prestige and position in the current context of deep integration.
