Cooperation signing ceremony with LI XIN Modern Ag-tech Company, Guangxi, China

(BAFU) – On April 4th, 2024, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) organized a Cooperation Signing Ceremony with a Delegation of  LI XIN Modern Ag-tech Company, Guangxi, China led by Mr. Li Yong – Assistant to Chairman, General Director to promote strengths in each side’s fields of operation to enhance cooperation and support towards long-term and sustainable development. The Signing Ceremony between the two sides has opened up many opportunities for future cooperation.

Speaking at the working session, Dr. Mai Thi Huyen welcomed the delegation to visit and work at BAFU. The Vice Rector hoped that “the Company will choose to provide  testing of vegetable varieties, transfer technical processes, and support the BAFU in registering for circulation and copyright protection. The cooperation will develop the agricultural economy in Bac Giang province and surrounding areas and bring many benefits to both sides”.

Mr. Li  Yong said that the LI XIN Modern Ag-tech Company conducted the testing of vegetable varieties and selected the BAFU as the only university in Vietnam to cooperate. The Company leaders also hoped that the people of the two countries would enjoy the most modern agricultural opportunities for economic development.

During the working session, the two sides exchanged and discussed techniques for taking care of testing varieties such as: natural conditions, climate, humidity, nutrition, temperature,… to predict the levels of pest damage and adjust accordingly. The Cooperation Agreement on research, development and scientific application in the field of new plant varieties was successfully signed.

The Cooperation Agreement between BAFU and LI XIN Modern Ag-tech Company is established on the principles of voluntariness, equality, mutual benefit, and in accordance with the provisions of law. This is the basis for implementing development cooperation between two sides.
