(BAFU) From August 14 to September 4, 2021, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) solemnly held a Master’s Thesis Defense Ceremony for graduate students of Course 4 (2019 – 2021) in Economics Management, Crop Science, Land Management.
From 14th to 15th of August, BAFU held a Master’s Thesis Defense Ceremony at lecture hall B5, the remaining sessions were held online. BAFU arranged 4 online defense rooms, fully equipped with technical facilities
In particular, the copyrighted Zoom software is equipped for online rooms. The entire process of organizing the thesis defense was recorded, videotaped and stored in the current regulations. Before organizing the online thesis defense, BAFU issued a planning guideline for the organization of online thesis defense, and at the same time organized training sessions for all graduate students and committee’s members.
At each committee, graduate students presented the research results in 20 minutes. After that, the committee’s members gave comments and assessments on the achieved results and limitations of the theses. Students acknowledged comments and answered questions from the members of committee.
The graduation thesis defense sessions took place with great success. According to the combined results from the Training Department and specialized faculties, although there were still errors in presentation format, content and methods, 122 graduate students were qualified for a Master’s degree.
