BAC GIANG – On the evening of January 5, the Central Youth Union and the Central Association of Vietnamese Students jointly organized the Awards Ceremony for the titles “Five-Good Student,” “Three-Good Student,” “Three-Disciplines Student,” and presented the “January Star” Award for the 2023 – 2024 academic year. Bac Giang province honored five individuals with the “Three-Good Student” title, and one student received the “January Star” Award.
The five individuals awarded the “Three-Good Student” title for the 2023 – 2024 academic year are all students from Bac Giang Specialized High School, including:
1/. Giap Vu Son Ha, 12th-grade (Chemistry major)
2/. Pham Hong Lien and Ngo Thi Hai Yen, 11th-grade (History-Geography majors)
3/. Nguyen Kien Trung, 1th-grade (English major)
4/. Nguyen Sy Lam, 10th-grade (English major)
These students are excellent students, with overall GPA scores in Math, Literature, and English of 9.0 or higher, good moral qualities, and strict implementation of school and class rules and compliance with state laws; fully meets health criteria. At the same time, enthusiastically participate in hobby clubs at BAFU and volunteer activities such as the “Red Phoenix Flower Campaign” and “Exam Support Program”.
Five individuals were honored with the “Three-Good Student” title
In the 2023-2024 academic year, these students also achieved remarkable results in various academic competitions at different levels:
– Giap Vu Son Ha won the Gold Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad and first prize in the National Excellent Student Competition for Chemistry.
– Nguyen Sy Lam won the second prize in the National Excellent Student Competition for English and a Bronze Medal in English at the Competition for Specialized High Schools in Coastal and Red River Delta Regions.
– Nguyen Kien Trung won the second prize in the National Excellent Student Competition for English and a Gold Medal in English at the Competition for Specialized High Schools in Coastal and Red River Delta Regions.
– Pham Hong Lien and Ngo Thi Hai Yen both won the second prize in the National Excellent Student Competition for Geography.
Chu The Hai, a student of BAFU was honored with the “January Star” Award
Student Chu The Hai (born 2003), student of D-THUY11A, Faculty of Animal Husbandry – Veterinary Medicine at BAFU. He was the only individual from Bac Giang province to receive this prestigious award. Hai is Secretary of HCYU chapter, Vice President of the Student Association of BAFU. He has an excellent academic record and is also a project manager of the school-level scientific project “Application of some non-clinical methods in diagnosing common medical diseases on the urinary-liver system in dogs examined at the Pet Care Center – Provet Bac Giang”.
These are prestigious awards presented annually by the Central Youth Union to students, union and association officials with many outstanding achievements in learning and training in academics and personal development, as well as active participation in youth union and association movements and volunteer activities.
The awards ceremony for the titles “Five-Good Student,” “Three-Good Student,” “Three-Disciplines Student,” and the “January Star” Award for the 2023-2024 academic year was part of a series of activities celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnamese Students’ Association (January 9, 1950–2025) annually takes place from January 4-6 in Hanoi.
