(BAFU) – On February 26, 2024, the delegations of Advance Group and Marukyo Shokusan Company from Japan visited and worked with Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU).

Attending the meeting, on the side of BAFU, there were Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Duong – Rector, Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung – Deputy Head of Training Department, Dr. Nguyen Van Luc – Dean of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Food Technology.
On the delegation side, there were Mr. Matsuo Tssutomu – Chairman of Marukyo Shokusan Company, Mr. Ura Taisuke – Director of Marukyo Shokusan Company, Ms. Ono Miori – Market Development Department of Advance Group and Mr. Vo Huy Hoan – Deputy Director of Newway Trading & Development Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, Mr. Matsuo Tsutomu informed about the internship situation of BAFU students at Marukyo Shokusan Company. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the Company accepted 05 students to intern. During the internship process at the Company, interns are assessed to have the will to strive to improve their expertise and foreign language. The Company also creates the best conditions for interns to experience traditional Japanese cultural activities.

After listening to the report from Marukyo Shokusan Company, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong recognized the results achieved by the cooperation program between Advance Group and BAFU. The University wishes to continue to cooperate more fully with Advance Group and expand the internship program for a variety of majors. The University proposed Advance Group and Marukyo Shokusan Company increase a number of scholarships to BAFU students. Besides, it is hoped that the Company would organize more communication activities such as: Japanese festivals, Japanese cultural festivals,… to increase students’ interest in Japan.

Also at the meeting, Advance Group and Marukyo Shokusan Company interviewed 6 students of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Food Technology as candidates to participate in the internship program in Japan.

The interns in Japan visited 99 islands
Previously, 20 students from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Food Technology participated in a 1-year internship program in Japan. According to the interns, despite language and culture differences, after working together, they no longer encounter lots of difficulties at work. Japanese colleagues are also extremely friendly and lovely. Working and resting times are also reasonable so they feel satisfactory and comfortable. Everyone in Japan is very sociable and kind.
