MoU with Hiroshima University – Japan in Hanoi concluded

(BAFU) – On December 15, 2023, Hiroshima University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) at the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

The signing of the MoU was conducted in the presence of Mr. Tran Thanh Nam – Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Le O Pich – Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee; Prof. Dr. Mitsuo Ochi – President of Hiroshima University; Prof. Pham Bao Duong – Rector of BAFU.

Stating at the opening of the program, on behalf of the BAFU, Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong sent his deepest thanks to the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province, and Hiroshima University for their interest in the cooperation between the two Universities. He also shared his joy when BAFU cooperated with Hiroshima University. “The BAFU will make efforts in preparing the best conditions for experts to Vietnam to jointly deploy the cooperation contents in the MoU. BAFU will continue to seek scholarships and support projects for graduate students”. Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Duong stated at the event.

Representatives of both sides signed the Cooperation Agreement

In the spirit of unity, the two sides officially signed a cooperation agreement with the following contents: (1) Promoting Joint Research Program; (2) Academic Lecturers – Staff Exchange; (3) Exchanging students and graduate students; (4) Exchanging research results, academic publications and other academic information; (5) Exchanging other academic and educational programs approved by the two universities.

The signing of Hiroshima University and BAFU is not only a milestone promoting mutual understanding between two sides but also a companion to bring practical knowledge values to society and the community of both countries.
