BAFU continues to award 130 scholarships to students at 13 High Schools in Bac Giang and Lai Chau provinces (2023)

(BAFU) – Implementing the BAFU’s Workplan in 2023, in May 2023 Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry (BAFU) held ceremonies to grant 130 scholarships to 13 High Schools in Bac Giang and Lai Chau provinces.

At each High School, BAFU awarded 10 scholarships to disadvantaged students with good academic achievements, each scholarship is worth 500,000 VND. In addition, the University assigned the Youth Union to award tree planting projects to 02 schools: Ly Thuong Kiet High School (Viet Yen); Giap Hai High School (Bac Giang City) worth 20,000,000 VND/a project.

Delivering his speech at each ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector of BAFU said, “ BAFU is proud to offer a scholarship program that provides opportunities for students, the scholarships awarded by BAFU to the students are a meaningful encouragement, helping them to make more efforts to study better and get closer to their dreams”. In addition, at the scholarship awards ceremonies, the BAFU’s leaders introduced to the students about the training programs and advantages when they study at BAFU as well as job opportunities after graduation.

Faculty of Agronomy awarded scholarships to students at Dao San High School and Ethnic Minority Boarding School in Phong Tho district – Lai Chau province
