(BAFU) On May 2, 2019, at the Hall B5, the Executive Board of the Youth Union of Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) organized a talk on “Learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s morality and example” to raise awareness for officials and unionists about the basic contents and great value of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style.
Attending at the talk were: Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao – former member of the Central Reasoning Council, Senior Expert of Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector of the school; M.A. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung – School Union President; M.A. Dam Thuan Minh Binh – Secretary Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of BAFU and numerous officials, lecturers together with more than 200 students.

At the talk, teachers and students of BAFU listened to Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao who has more than 40 years of research on life and career and 30 years of telling thousands of stories about Uncle Ho. Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao shared the main features of the life, career, ideology and moral example of President Ho Chi Minh. He also introduced some generalizations about the life of Uncle Ho, from difficulties and hardships in his childhood to adulthood, his departure to find a way to save the country, and his return to lead revolutionary movements in Vietnam, undergoing long resistance wars against the colonialism and the imperialism. According to Mr. Hoang Chi Bao, the talk about Uncle Ho was not only to review his life and career, but also helped people love him more, striving and studying the ideology and moral example of Uncle Ho.The talk left deep impressions in the hearts of the participants about Uncle Ho, the beloved leader of Vietnamese nation.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector of BAFU thanked Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao for having a meaningful talk that helped officials, teachers and students get more aware of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral and style examples. He also suggested all staff, especially young lecturers and students studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example as a very important and regular task. Through the talk, all officials and staff at BAFU have gained a deeper understanding of the late Vietnamese President, he said.

On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of BAFU awarded certificates of merit to 05 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements of the Union and Youth movement in 2018; 3 individuals won the title of Advanced Youth and 24 students won prizes in the exam of excellent students in English, Chinese and Informatics in 2019.
