(BAFU) – During two days June 14 and 15, 2024 at the College of Agricultural Mechanics (Vinh Phuc), the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) organized a Conference on Agricultural Students and Innovative Start-ups.
The Conference was held with the participation of 4 Universities and 28 Colleges, Departments under the MARD, along with businesses, organizations and individuals supporting innovative start-ups activities.
The Conference included the following contents: Groups of outstanding students presented their ideas and results of start-up and innovation projects; Displaying the products and results of scientific research, start-ups and innovation of students; Participating in seminars on innovative start-ups for agricultural students; Launching the movement “Start-ups, Innovation and Creativity of Agricultural Students”.
At this Conference, the booth displays from Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) attracted a large number of delegates and students to visit with diverse products such as: Ha den grapes, Polyscias fruticosa tea, Solanum procumbens tea, Cereal tea, Vegetarian meat, Cordyceps sinensis, Tissue culture sample bottles…

On this occasion, the group of BAFU’s students (under the guidance of MSc. Pham Thi Thanh Le) presented the idea: “Linking agricultural tourism with cultural tourism destinations in Bac Giang province“. The idea has received the attention of the MARD’s leaders and delegations.

The two – day event has inspired an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset among students and community members. This is also an opportunity for students of BAFU to exchange, learn, and assert themselves in society. BAFU is a place to create quality human resources with full knowledge, capacity and skills when participating in the startup ecosystem. The university also has an important task of nurturing and supporting innovative start-up ideas, connecting the resources of schools and society to develop successful businesses in the future.
