(BAFU) – On the afternoon of August 15, 2023, Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) attended the program “Minister meet with teachers, education managers and staff of the Education and Training sector in 2023”. The program, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the Vietnam Education Trade Union, was conducted online connecting with 63 provinces and cities.
At the BAFU site, the meeting was chaired by Dr. Mai Thi Huyen, Vice-Rector, along with leaders from various departments and units under the university.
The meeting “Minister of Education and Training meets with teachers, education managers, and staff of the education sector” attracted a lot of attention and received about 6,300 suggestions, of which more than 200 were from colleges and higher education institutions. The opinions and suggestions focused on 4 main issues: university autonomy; the role of teaching staff in implementation, improving the quality of training and scientific research; digital transformation in education; adaptation of universities, infrastructure, network planning…
The Minister sent words of encouragement and sharing with the teaching staff, administrators of universities and colleges. The Minister also stressed the need to pay more attention to them, and listen to their thoughts and aspirations, advantages, difficulties… in the process of working to continue to perfect the regulations and policies, and to execute practical solutions, thereby developing the teaching and administrative staff of the sector, ensuring the staff to carry out the tasks of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training./.
