Celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 11/20 and Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2022–2023

(BAFU) – On the morning of November 19th, 2022, at Hall B5, Bac Giang  Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) solemnly held a Celebration of Vietnam Teachers’ Day on November 20 and Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2022–2023.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of the guests were Mr. Le O Pich – Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee; The comrades represent a number of departments and branches of the province; Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bich Dong Town; Leaders of Dabaco Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company; Newhope Hanoi Co., Ltd, Bac Giang branch; Hai Thinh Nutrition Joint Stock Company; Cathay Life Insurance Company Limited; HI-P High Technology Co., Ltd; Cibon Group; Luxshare – ICT company. The ceremony also had the presence of comrades who were former leaders of the Party Committee, the Board of Rectors of BAFU over the periods. On the side of BAFU, there were Meritorious teacher, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Dr. Dang Xuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of BAFU Council; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Diep – Vice Rector; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector; All staff and lecturers and representatives of students are studying at BAFU.

In his welcome speech, Meritorious teacher, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector sent the best wishes to the generations of teachers, delegates, staff and students on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Vietnam 11/20. The academic year 2021 – 2022 and in recent years, BAFU has achieved proud results. In 5 years, BAFU added 13 PhDs and 49 main lecturers, upgrading the total number of teaching staff with postgraduate qualifications to 85.3%, reaching the average level of the university system in the whole country. The Rector believed that with the solid premise and tradition of solidarity, with the help of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province, Viet Yen district, the consensus and coordination of businesses, BAFU would be increasingly developed and succeed.

On this occasion, BAFU solemnly awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to 3 individuals, the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to 01 collective and 05 individuals.
